Exciting news!
- Maplewood hosted its 4th annual “Women Making History Business Expo” event on Thursday! Women business owners were invited to show off their businesses at this fun and open evening! (Here is more information about it if you are interested http://www.cityofmaplewood.com/index.aspx?NID=148
- It was a great success! I thoroughly enjoyed talking to everybody about Studio Forté Dance and Fine arts and the exciting year we were having! I got to tell them all how it has been my dream since I was 14 to own a dance studio, and dreams really do come true. I am so grateful to wake up every morning and get to do what I truly love! How awesome that?
- “What do you do for a living?” “Oh. Uh I get to dance and play piano with kids all day long.”
- Pretty sweet.
- Anyway. I digress. It was a great success at the Maplewood Business Expo and it is because of all of you who have made such a great year possible at Studio Forté. Check the pictures below!

Attention Parents!
The dress rehearsal time has changed. When I posted 7-9pm I did not think about small children and bedtimes. It was very silly of me and I wanted to correct it asap!
The new dress rehearsal time is: Thursday, April 29th 4:30 – 6:00.
Hopefully this will work better for you and your family. After all, they need to be nice and rested for their performance on Friday

So here it is. This is the new floor that I have been saving for. Isn’t it beautiful?
This is what I hope to have in the studio by the beginning of Fall 2010! Now, granted, the outside light and spacious square footage in this particular picture makes it look awfully idyllic, but soon StudioForté – Dance and Fine Arts will have this bright shiny floor!
Hello Dancer Parents!
It is official. We have a date. What’s that you say? A date for WHAT?!
The 2010 Spring Dance recital at Studio Forté! I will start with the basics so you can begin to plan and get the word out to family and friends! I found a beautiful auditorium that has plenty of seating on the floor and in the balcony. More people = more fun for the kids. Watch this space for detailed information coming soon!
Recital Date: Friday April 30th at 6:30pm.
Dress Rehearsal Date: Thursday, April 29th 7-9pm.
Location: 2156 Russell Boulevard St Louis, MO 63104-2607. Check out the picture below. How cool looking is that?
Picture day: Scheduled for the week of the dance recital. More information to follow soon!
Recital Fee: There will be a one time recital fee to help cover the costs of the recital. This also will be coming soon!
